Has it happened to anyone. It sort of makes sense.
Does anybody believe the saying that most women go into labor on a full moon.
Going into labor on a full moon. Because my kids were both crescent moon babies but the jokes about a full moon sending women into labor never stop. True and embarrassing story when I was 17 years old I stole my sisters. After all a full moon can kick them into labor – right.
Its certainly a widely held belief. It goes back so far its unclear where it first took hold but one thing is for sure. People around the world have a deep faith in the moons ability to affect human physiology.
Giving birth is just one human behavior said to be affected by the full moon. Conception and fertility have also been linked to moon. The moons influence is called the lunar effect.

Full moons do some crazy stuff to people maybe they make baby finally decide to break out of that uterus. Theres really no rhyme or reason to this tale and obviously its not backed up by medical science. Or any science actually.
The lunar cycle makes a lot of stuff happen but its probably not to. Does it really mean that a Full Moon can cause a woman at the end of her pregnancy to go into labor. It is believed that if a womans pregnancy is just about done and she is full term around the time of the Full Moon then things start happening.

What I have reaad so far about it is that when there is a full moon or new moon the gravitational pull affects large bodies of water so alot of women also believe it has an affect on them if close to there due datelike your water breakingalot of hospitals actually make sure they are staffed well on fullnew moons bc they are alot busieryou dont have to naked outside though and my aunt delivered on a full moon they say that it can happen within 3 before or after a fullnew moon.

And how many weeks were u. Ill be 38 weeks and 4 days tomo. As the theory goes since the moons gravitation pull is strong enough to influence the tides its also strong enough to affect a womans body namely her menstrual cycle and if shes pregnant and nearing her due date her contractions.

Just curiousmy due date is awful close and Monday is a full moon P lol. They say that it can cause you to go into labor and most womens water breaks during a full moon than any other day of the month. All grandmother went into labor with all 3 of her babies on a full moon.
